XIII CAC Age Group Nassau, Bahamas June 18th & 19th, 2009

The XIII Central American & Caribbean Athletics Age Group A & B Championship (Pentathlon-Heptathlon), June 18th & 19th, 2009,  is carried out under the auspice of the International Associations of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and North America, Central American & Caribbean Athletics Confederation (NACAC), and is one of the many events of the official calendar of CACAC.

This event has been prepared by an Organizing Committee formed by the Bahamas Association of Athletics Associations (BAAA), with the endorsement of the Sports Minister Hon. Desmond Bannister. This event will be hosted at the facilities of the “Thomas Robinson” Stadium, located in Nassau, Bahamas.

To the Bahamas Athletics Federation it is a great honor to have been selected as the host country for this magnificent event, in which the boys and girls that represent the future of our sport in the Central American and the Caribbean region will be competing.

El XIII Campeonato Centroamericano y del Caribe de Atletismo Infantil (Pentatlon-Heptatlon), Junio 18 y 19 de 2009, se lleva a cabo bajo el auspicio de la Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Atletismo  (IAAF) y del Área NACAC, es  uno de los muchos eventos del calendario oficial de la Confederación de Atletismo de Centro América y el Caribe (CACAC).

Este evento ha sido preparado por un Comité Organizador formado por la Asociación de Atletismo de Bahamas, con el respaldo del Ministro de Deportes Hon. Desmond Bannister. El mismo se llevará a cabo en las instalaciones del Estadio de Atletismo “Thomas Robinson” localizado en la ciudad de Nassau, Bahamas.

Para la Federación de Atletismo de Bahamas es un grato honor que nuestro país haya sido elegido como anfitrión de este magno evento, en el cual compiten los niños y niñas que representan el futuro del atletismo en Centroamérica y el Caribe.
